I recently attended the TOBI 2016 Symposium hosted by The Orthobiologic Institute in Las Vegas on June 8 to 11, 2016. I have made a commitment to attend this event annually as it helps me stay current on the latest advances in the field of orthobiologics regenerative medicine.
We offer regenerative medicine at Integrated Orthopedics in the area of Cell Therapy/PRP and have seen amazing results within our patient population. You can read about some of our patients’ success stories with PRP on our blog, including the experiences of Kim Yeakel and Don Pompliano.
The positive outcomes achieved with regenerative medicine in my practice for 10 years motivates me to stay up-to-date on its use in orthopedics and to continue to bring the most cutting-edge application of it to our patients.
At the TOBI conference, the world’s leaders in the field gather together to share the latest research and best practices. This year’s event offered many valuable insights, which I’ll be able to integrate into my work, including:
- New protocols for the use of regenerative medicine.
- Participation in an international effort among orthopedic physicians to collaborate on data to advance the field of regenerative medicine in orthopedics.
While it’s often hard to carve out time to attend events like TOBI, I have found it to be incredibly worthwhile. Doing so ensures that we continue to offer the most innovative care possible to you. I look forward to continuing to be a part of the advances in the field of regenerative medicine and to bring the benefits of it to our work at Integrated Orthopedics.
